“Love is thicker than Blood and the Demand for a Cure is needed now more than ever” Los Angeles Pride and Promote honors World AIDS Day
(Los Angeles – December 1, 2011) For 30 years we’ve witnessed our family and friends lose their lives to an epidemic that continues to impact our community.
On this World AIDS Day, we remember those precious lives that were lost and recognize the battle that continues.
It’s been said that “Everyone can’t do everything, but we can all do something” whether it’s getting tested or raising awareness about HIV/AIDS to those most at risk, our future.
Pride and Promote of Los Angeles salutes those in our own community fighting the fight that the weak can no longer; and we pray for and support the individuals holding out hope for a cure.
The poison in their veins should not overshadow what’s most important, a bond of love is thicker than blood.
